Duration: 6 months plus very likely extension.

Our client, a recognized Manufacturer is looking to hire an SAP Support Analyst for a 6-month contract to join their team in Burlington, ON.

As an SAP Support Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our SAP systems and ensuring their optimal performance within our manufacturing operations. You will work closely with various departments to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and enhance system functionality. Your expertise will be vital in driving efficiency, improving processes, and ensuring the seamless integration of SAP solutions within the manufacturing environment.

Your New Role:

System Support and Troubleshooting:
  1. Provide first and second-level support for SAP applications, resolving issues related to system functionality, user access, and data integrity.
  2. Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
User Training and Documentation:
  1. Develop and deliver training sessions for end-users to enhance their understanding of SAP functionalities and best practices.
  2. Create and maintain user documentation, guides, and training materials to support system usage.
Collaboration and Communication:
  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, inventory management, quality assurance, and finance, to understand their SAP requirements and challenges.
  2. Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users to facilitate effective communication and ensure alignment on system enhancements and changes.
System Enhancements and Projects:
  1. Participate in the design, testing, and implementation of SAP system enhancements and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  2. Assist in project initiatives aimed at improving processes, reducing costs, and increasing efficiency within the manufacturing environment.
Data Management and Analysis:
  1. Monitor and analyze data within SAP to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  2. Generate reports and dashboards to support decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
Compliance and Best Practices:
  1. Stay up-to-date with SAP best practices, industry trends, and regulatory requirements relevant to the manufacturing sector.
  2. Ensure compliance with internal controls and procedures related to SAP usage.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience working with SAP in a support or analyst role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of SAP modules relevant to manufacturing (e.g., SAP MM, SAP PP, SAP SD).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to resolve technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools
