Key Responsibilities

Preparation of commercial rental property cash flow projections;
Preparation of progress draw requests and related schedules, and submission to Lenders on a monthly basis;
Preparation of annual commercial rental portfolio summaries and reports;
Preparation of mortgage review requests and associated reporting/analysis to Lenders;
Preparation of annual income tax projections and reconciliation of federal and provincial income tax
accounts to interim statements/notice of assessments;
Maintaining corporate tax installment schedules and preparation of monthly installment remittances;
Periodic testing and review of compliance with company internal controls, and documentation thereof;
Participation in various projects and company initiatives including digitization and IT related projects;
Ad hoc analysis and reports as required by the Corporate Controller and CFO;
Ensure and enforce compliance to all company, client and legislated Safety policies and procedures.

Education and Experience

University degree
Sound knowledge of Accounting Principles (ASPE) as they are applied within the Property Management Industry;
Sound knowledge of financial systems, specifically Yardi Voyager;
Experience and knowledge of all aspects of corporate accounting and financial management
Thorough knowledge of all relevant federal, provincial and municipal reporting requirements
Proficient communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications – Yardi, Microsoft Office
