Hays Specialist Recruitment has partnered with a property management organization in Calgary, AB. We are seeking a Senior Property Accountant to join their team immediately. This is a 2-month contract

Your new role

• Preparing, compiling and mailing monthly financial statements.
• Performing variance analysis
• Responding to financial / cash flow inquiries of owners.
• Performing financial analysis and additional reports for clients and properties as required.
• Calculation of final management fee adjustments.
• Preparation of annual draft & final budgets for own portfolio.
• Assisting with imports for new fiscal year budgets.
• Proactively monitoring commercial tenant insurance certificates.
• Providing financial information to mortgage companies and appraisers as requested.
• Liaising with external auditors of client's properties.

What you'll need to succeed

• 3-5 years accounting experience, ideally within Property
• Experience with CAM reconciliations
• Knowledge of US GAAP
