We're hiring a Senior Property Manager in Ottawa!
We are working with a key client, a leading Commercial Real Estate Brokerage, who is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Property Manager to lead the launch and growth of their new property management division. This is a unique opportunity for a self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial spirit to play a key role in shaping the future of our client's company. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of property management operations, while simultaneously developing and implementing strategies to expand their client base and build a successful property management portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of property management operations, including:
- Tenant relations, including lease administration, rent collection, and resolving tenant concerns.
- Financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Maintenance and repairs, including coordinating with contractors and ensuring timely completion of work orders.
- Building inspections and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Ensuring the safety and security of all properties.
- Network with potential clients, including property owners, investors, and developers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry professionals.
- Recruit, hire, and train a team of property managers to support the growing portfolio.
- Oversee the performance of the property management team and provide ongoing training and support.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in property management, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client service skills.
- Experience in business development and sales is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Experience in financial management and budgeting.
- Knowledge of relevant property management software and industry regulations.
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for building a successful business.
