Hays Property are recruiting on behalf of our client, one of Canada’s leading property management companies with properties all across Canada. They are a company that have a great reputation within the industry and are looking for an experienced Commercial Property Manager to oversee a portfolio across the GTA.

Your new role

As the Property Manager, you will be responsible for the oversight and management of 17 properties spread across the GTA. The expectations of the role are to be at the Head Office, based in North York and visiting your properties on site on a day-to-day basis. Expectation of the role is typical PM duties, working with clients, coordination of maintenance, assistance of the day to day running of the properties, rent, arrears, leasing and all day to day tenant inquiries. The role is 5 days in office with the expectation of visiting your properties and clients across the working month, of which mileage is reimbursed. You will have a team of PA's that work very closely with you and additionally work very closely with the Senior PM.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you will have 5+ years of experience in a similar role, particularly pertaining to commercial property management, and you must have some retail experience. You will have an excellent track record of working within a similar environment. You should have the ability to work independently, have strong management skills and excellent planning and organizational skills. You should also have a drive to want to grow with the company.
