Our client, a leading global chemistry company across US, Canada, Asia and Europe, is going through a Digital Transformation. They are building a Digital Hub for the global business in Toronto city. Therefore, we are hiring multiple technology talents with ambition to join the digital hub. Our client has earned various awards, including being recognized by Mediacorp as a Top Employer in Canada and the GTA in 2023, and for many consecutive years prior.

Your new role

• Develop AI-based applications for a broad spectrum of internal clients.
  • Implement functional requirements and plan solution implementation, choosing the right AI tools and working closely with users and our broader AI team.
  • Integrate AI solutions into existing workflows and optimize solutions as the AI landscape evolves and/or users’ needs change.
  • Manage central code versioning in Azure DevOps, git, and / or git bash shell, ensuring best practices in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues to promote a culture of AI-driven innovation within the organization.
  • Take smart risks and champion new ideas.

What you'll need to succeed

• A Bachelor's degree in the field of
  Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or related discipline
  With at least 3 years of experience in a similar role OR
• A Master's degree in the field of Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or related discipline with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role
• At least a year of software engineering experience with:
• Maintaining infrastructure as code
• Experience working on a DevOps team (preferably in Azure)
• Experience with configuring and deploying Microsoft Azure
• Excellent programming skills in Python, and experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
• A growth mindset with a curiosity to learn and improve.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Team player with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• You can demonstrate fluent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Continuous learning to keep up with the rapid technological developments in the field of AI.

• Proven track record of successful AI-driven projects.
• Advanced Azure skills and familiarity with Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Bot Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and emerging Azure/Microsoft-based AI solutions/studios.
• Experience in prompt engineering and fine-tuning large language models for specific applications.
• Experience with other AI technologies, such as natural language processing, reinforcement learning or computer vision.
