Now seeking an experienced Project/Site Coordinator for high-rise projects up 30-storeys+ in Atlantic Canada
Your new company
Our client, a renowned and family-owned multi-residential construction developer, is seeking an experienced and motivated High-Rise Project Coordinator to join their team. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale, complex projects in Atlantic Canada.
Your new role
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Prioritize safety by enforcing strict safety protocols and conducting regular site inspections.
- Contract Management: Negotiate and administer contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, managing change orders and variations.
- Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and prepare financial reports.
- Source and procure materials, equipment, and services, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting minutes, correspondence, and technical drawings.
- Effectively communicate with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.
What you'll need to succeed
- 3-5 years of experience in a project coordinator role, preferably in high-rise construction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, ProCore or other softwares
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders, managers and trades
- Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all aspects of project management.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
