You will be joining a well-established and highly reputable property management company based in North York, ON. They have been in business for over 40 years and are known for their expertise in real estate. They specialize in managing residential, commercial, and industrial properties across Ontario, offering a range of services, including property management, asset management and leasing.

Your new role

You will collaborate with the Director of Operations to achieve financial, operational, and cultural goals for clients, residents, and team members. Responsibilities include managing property risk, safety standards, and liabilities, developing best practices, and overseeing annual budgets with Property Managers. The role also entails monitoring key performance indicators, implementing corrective measures, and reporting quarterly to the Client’s Asset Management team. Additionally, it involves ensuring timely apartment preparations, coordinating with department heads, negotiating contracts, and maintaining excellent client relations. The position requires active management of the asset portfolio, mentoring and developing team members, enhancing team performance and property appearance.

What you'll need to succeed

You have 5+ years of experience in a similar position, with strong skills in multi-site management, communication, and financial acumen. A proven ability to organize and prioritize tasks, manage multiple demands, and apply critical thinking to various situations. This includes developing methodologies for data collection and analysis, auditing program processes, monitoring quality, identifying problems and their root causes, and implementing effective improvement plans. Experience with budgets and financial statements is essential, as is proficiency in property management software such as MS Office and Yardi.
