Job: Licensed Industrial Electrician – 442A ($43- $45/hr)

Our client is well established manufacturer in the heavy industrial welding fabrication industry. They have permanent jobs open for
Licensed Industrial Electrician 442a. Metal Fabrication / Welding site experience is a MUST. 309 is accepted only with welding equipment maintenance experience. The job is based in Kitchener – Cambridge - Guelph, ON area. This is a straight afternoon shift 4*10 shift. A clear criminal record is required for employment.

The licensed Industrial Electrician (442a preferred) will troubleshoot and repair and maintain all existing plant equipment – welding and metal fabrication equipment- CNC, Lathe, Cutting Forming and similar. You will conduct root cause analysis of repeated failures, create preventative and predictive maintenance plans, perform PMs and improve downtime. You will repair and test wiring for electrical systems on machinery, troubleshoot basic PLC-Programmable Logic Controls, resolve production line equipment issues. You will adhere to all safety rules and procedures. You will work on plant maintenance and on special projects.

Good communication skills in English are a MUST. Ability to work in a team environment and independently is a MUST-have. A clear criminal check is required. This is a fast-paced, dirty environment.
