Your new role

The successful candidate will be reporting to lead architect or Project manager on various projects. You will be working on primarily wood framed, mixed-use, multi-family and projects in British Columbia, this is a great opportunity to participate in the design of exciting projects and to work with a great team of people in a diverse and comprehensive environment. The successful candidate will be highly qualified and experienced Architectural Technologist/Intern Architect. As an integral member of the company, you will contribute to the design and execution of architectural projects.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will have a minimum 5+ years' relevant experience with a British Columbia Architectural firm, Post-Secondary Degree in Architecture or a Diploma in Architectural Technology, must be registered with the AIBC, or eligible to be registered in the province of B.C, LEED and/or Passive House Accreditation an asset. You will be proficient in ArchiCAD preferred or other BIM software; and/or have a willingness to learn Archicad, you will also be proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Bluebeam PDF preferred. You will have work experience with producing architectural documentation for all phases of project work, ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will have strong communication, technical, project management and design skills. The successful candidate will have working knowledge of VBBL and BCBC, wood/concrete construction and well versed in managing communication with clients, consultants, and project team. Construction Admin and Field Review an asset.
