Since their inception over 40 years ago, this General Contractor has grown their operations across Western Canada with over 150 successfully completed projects. The company has several projects starting up in 2024, and this person will most likely be working on a mid-rise multifamily project in the Vancouver area.

Your new role

As Project Manager, you will be working with a high-performing team tasked with executing the upcoming mid-rise project. You will report to the Project Director on the project and provide guidance to the project team, oversee day-to-day functioning, develop and implement project plans and ensure the project is completed on time and on budget. You will maintain excellent relationships with clients, consultants, site staff/sub-trades and the internal project team.

What you'll need to succeed

The role requires a minimum of 5 years (+) of experience as Project Manager working for either a General Contractor or Developer Builder. This company is ideally looking for someone with a background in high rise residential or mixed-use, but they will also consider larger commercial, institutional, or wood frame condominium experiences. A post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering or related field is considered an asset.
